Anders Lundqvist is one of the talented representatives of the Italo-disco style (Space Disco, Synthesizer Dance). Born in February 1973 in Sweden. He showed interest in music at the age of about eight. At first he sang in the choir, played the flute. Then he got carried away with the piano. Soon he got tired of playing other people's works and wanted to create something of his own. As a teenager, he began experimenting with synthesizers with friends. But it didn't lead to anything serious.

In 1988, Anders got acquainted with the work of the band "LaserDance" after hearing their album "Future Generation". This event turned out to be a turning point - he realized that he wanted to make the same music. Soon, the personal computer became his platform for creating music.

Over the next nine years (1989-1998), Anders created many compositions using a computer. At the same time, he began to create a small home studio with synthesizers. After several years of not very active work, Anders Lundqvist decided to take music more seriously. In 1998, he bought some more equipment for the studio and began to create several more tracks based entirely on his synthesizers.

In 1999, Anders Lundqvist, by the nature of his creative activity, met Humphrey Robertson, who began work on a project in the style of Synthesizer Dance with the participation of new performers. This meeting turned out to be very fruitful - two tracks by Anders were included in the collection "Synthesizer Dance Vol. 1". After that, the inspired musician started working on the tracks for “Synthesizer Dance Vol. 2, Vol. 3 and Vol. 4". In 2000, another significant meeting takes place - Anders Lundqvist meets Marco Rochowski. Together they create a fairly successful project called "Macrocosm".

After the release of the collections “Synthesizer Dance” Anders Lundqvist wanted to realize his long-term dream: to make his own CD. After many months of creative work (constantly interrupted), for a period spanning almost two years, the first CD was finally completed. Nevertheless, one interesting detail needs to be mentioned here. Anders Lundqvist actually had two albums. The first one – “Desolation” – was never released on a “factory stamped” CD. It was recorded in 2000 and only on CD-R. At one time, this CD-R could be bought on the portal mp3.com in CD-Audio and even CD-Extra format. As for the artist's published works, among them is the album “Unknown Destination”, which was released as an ordinary CD in 2001 on the Hypersound Productions label (hypersound.ch), as well as single tracks on the "Synthesizer Dance" compilations.
