German DJ Thomas Kukula is the founder of the General Base project. This idea came to him in 1990, after several years of DJ work. At some point, he realized that it would be nice not only to play music, but also to make a quality product, record and sell it. And he managed to bring his ideas to life: he released several successful singles and a full-fledged album "First", which remained the only one. He was also able to inspire a talented guy named Andre Tanneberger to create great tracks, first in the rave style, and then trance. Well, in the 99th year, Andre remixed the Sax'y song, which turned out to be very cool, sunny and uplifting! It's very pleasant to the ear, so I am very happy to put it in my playlist! May it bring you as much joy as it does me! Enjoy it!

His music has always been sonically and musically creative, so when I first heard his music as kid it was one of the main things that inspired me to want to make electronic music. Jarre also created the big show format for an electronic performer. I recall first discovering Tangerine Dream via the soundtrack to "Risky Business" & was very sad to hear of Edgar Froese's recent passing. It was an honour to work with these two legends of electronica on our remix of "Zero Gravity" - the idea was to draw on the early influences from their music combined with ideas from the track itself & then inject some Above & Beyond in the mix".
