The label SpaceSynth.Ru was created as an offshoot from the main site and is completely non-commercial. Its main task, as well as the task of the community itself, is to promote and advertising Spacesynth music, as well as its authors. The creation of the label happened spontaneously when it was necessary to release the first collection "Space Odyssey" on CD in 2016. Since the organizers and composers of the collection were members of the community SpaceSynth.Ru, then it was decided to use the name of the community as the name for the label.
Later, under the brand SpaceSynth.Ru The rest of the collection "Space Odyssey" was released, as well as other compilations and solo albums by some authors. All releases were premiered on the radio. Some digital editions have also been published on the label's bandcamp page at: https://spacesynth.bandcamp.com/.
The organizer and sponsor of all publications was the project administrator Dmitry Chikhaev. Graphic design for most CDs was handled by Sergey Rudenko. Technical support and mastering were provided by Pavel Kuznetsov and Alexander Bez. Nikolay Fedorenko provided assistance with the translation of interviews and booklets for some publications. A total of 17 CDs and 15 digital releases were released. CD and printing were produced in Germany and Italy, and the finished products were shipped from Estonia. Now the brand SpaceSynth.Ru (as a music label) is almost inactive. In order to competently organize & release music, you need both financial resources and human resources. At the moment, the community does not have enough of them for this.
The catalog numbers have the following format.
CD releases: SP-RU xxx, where xxx is the serial number of the release.
Digital releases: SP-RU yyyymmdd, where yyyy is the year, mm is the month and dd is the day of release.
The same release may have two issues at once, as some CD editions were also released in digital format on the bandcamp site.
