SERVICES
Services you can expect to get are Mixing, Mastering / Vinyl Mastering and Arrangements, Original Music and Sound Effects for games and video. For starting artists, you can have a Music Producer to help you to lift your music by providing commenting and suggestions. Audio work is done digitally using quality software and with some hardware equipment, such as professional audio monitoring, with an ear for details.
Services to you are provided remotely in a high-quality manner with experience working remotely with customers. Services are provided in English and Finnish languages in emails, chats, and video meetings.
RATES
Rates are very reasonable for independent artists, don't hesitate to ask.
Service rates starting from 25 € (excl. VAT 24%). For predicting your total costs, fixed rates are preferred whenever possible.
STARDRIVE STUDIO HISTORY
At heart of the studio is Jouni Airaksinen, artist name Mark Vera. Mark Vera was prominent artist around early 2000s when 80’s inspired genre called Spacesynth was gearing up in collaboration with artists such as Marco Rochowski, Anders Lundqvist, Dreamtime, Everdune/Lightracer, and even some of the original artists from the 80’s like Michiel van der Kuy and Rob van Eijk.
You can think Spacesynth genre as one of the precursors and lift pads for Synthwave genre which became more main stream in early 2010s. The genre website SPACESYNTH.NET was administrated by Jouni Airaksinen and left long legacy to the scene. This history provides personal and deep connections to the scene.
Jouni Airaksinen has helped many artists to become more. Artists like Everdune, Galaxion, Future Human and artists on compilation album Spacesynth Revolutions for British record label Alpha Centauri. Stardrive Studio works also as an indie record label. Starting with Synthwave artist Mark Vera.
Personal work for Jouni Airaksinen included working for Synapse Audio Software in production of Orion DAW during 2000s, which makes Stardrive Studio versatile studio with experience also with audio software internals.
