Delays and Reverb

What are the general settings for a Humanoid Invasion style delay and reverb? I'm struggling to replicate it. How many delay repeats? Feedback? regular delay or tap delays? dotted or triplet timing? What about reverb type and length? Do you use the fx in serial or parallel?

For such an effect I use a stereo delay timed on 1/8 notes in Logic. And sometimes I use my Alesis Microverb but then I must set the delay timing in milliseconds which is harder to get right. It’s much easier to just click the 1/8 note dotted setting in Logic
I wouldn’t use much reverb for the “Humanoid Invasion” type of style because it gets muddy very quickly. But for the “drenched in fx sound” I would put it before the delay and filter out some low end.
