Roman Petrov (Megus project): January 2022, day 10. Spacesynth music holds a special place in my heart. As a teenager, I loved Laserdance and Koto. This genre is full of cliches, and it is difficult to create something new and unlike the others. I love experimentation, but after listening to other performers in this direction, I still return to Laserdance. So, this is my little tribute to Eric van Vliet & Michiel van der Kuy.

These were Instrumental tracks in the genre of Spacesynth & retro dance music of the 80s. Classic sounds of vintage synthesizers, LinnDrum & Simmons SDSV drum machines. Plus delicate inserts and "gadgets" of modern EDM trends. Unfortunately, they can no longer be listened to because the Polish producer deleted them from his Bandcamp account. But the main thing is that they did exist, didn't they?

In the "Ray_Orion" & "Playing Space" community VKontakte appeared the news that work on the new album by Ray Orion is continuing. The release date has been set so far for August this year. On the page under the post itself about the upcoming longplay, a "voting system" has also been launched so that fans of the project's music can answer whether they are waiting for it or not, as well as leave their comments about it.


I have already expressed my opinion in favor of the upcoming album, so I urge the forum members to support its release. I also sincerely wish Andrey Zhitnev, as a performer, and Alexander Zhitnev, as a producer, creative inspiration & a very successful completion of the production process of fresh musical material! And let the new rhythms & melodies turn out to be really cool and enjoyable! Hurray!
