The greatest synthesizer music from the eighties is back! This time in masterful renditions by none less than synthesizer maestro Kebu. “Synthesizer Legends – Volume 1” is a collection of cover tunes of famous and less well-known instrumental synthesizer gems from the eighties. The songs are arranged and performed by Kebu using only analog synthesizers and analog drum machines. Some of the songs on the album have been part of Kebu’s live repertoire for many years already, while other songs are completely new arrangements.

Kebu - Making of "Oxygene pt. 4" Description from the author: "In this workshop episode I'm breaking down how I made my cover version of Jean Michel Jarre's "Oxygene pt. 4", which is out now on my "Synthesizer Legends - Volume 1" album. I built the arrangement for my cover version based on a short edit of the Hipnosis "Oxygene" cover, which was used as theme for a Finnish television music show in the early 80's called "Hittimittari". The video production was supported by Musiikin Edistämissäätiö, for which I'm truly grateful!"

Vangelis - Blade Runner (End Titles) (Kebu Rehearsals) [published on 26.05.2022] Message from the composer: "Rehearsing for "A weekend with Kebu", 4-5 June 2022 in Helsinki. In total 3 hours of music to get right, including this masterpiece by Vangelis, who recently travelled back to the stars. I was planning on taking down the video after the show, but since so many seem to enjoy the video, I decided to keep it. You just have to bear with the outdated ad text".
