VPS Avenger, a powerful synth that has fantastic musical presets. I suggest investing into expansions such as Italo Disco and Retrowave.

Over the years TAL has made several plugins that just ooze quality. They are very affordable too. My personal faves are TAL-U-NO-LX, TAL-BassLine-101, TAL Drum and TAL Vocoder (free).

If you subscribe to CM magazine (Computer Music magazine), you will get access to the CM plugin suite and load's of free samples.

The digital version is pretty cheap and it's always an interesting read!

I got the arturia Juno Chorus for free.

I too use the vengeance sound Italo Disco pack. The quality of the sounds are really good and highly useable.
