Welcome to the club! Here famous DJs play great music of genres such as Techno, Rave, Drum'n'Bass, as well as Trance, House (and their progressive varieties), & some others. So let's dive into the club atmosphere, get into it, and at least periodically replenish the collection of creations, albums and selections from tracks spinned on the "turntables". So, according to tradition, I will begin ( ):
On February 26, my favorite DJ and composer Andre Tanneberger (ATB) celebrated his 50th Birthday. He appeared in my life during difficult times for me. In the early 2000s, I was in a deep depression, provoked by rejection from my classmates, and stress associated with leaving the school and entering a college for an unwanted specialty, and the refusal of my groupmates to play with me a few reprises written by me for the student stage. Thus, all these circumstances "overlapped" with each other, and because of them I even was ready to commit suicide. But Andre's beautiful music came to my rescue: it brought me back to life, and thanks to it I won the fight against depression. To be honest, at first I didn't want to call him my favorite, but in 2002, 3 years after getting acquainted with his creation, I admitted him in this capacity. And since then, an almost perfect "romance" with his wonderful DJ art began: I bought his albums, mixes, single collections on cassettes and discs with great pleasure, enjoyed his music from the bottom of my heart, and cried tears of joy listening to especially touching tracks. I was genuinely surprised at his ability to create themes that could find a lively response in my soul, I even liked the styles of electronic club music that rule on the dance floors, and this continued until I learned about Anton Eriksson. Yes, in 2018, Andre ceased to be my only one favorite performer, and at first it shocked me a little, but now I understand that over time I should have had someone else. In addition, I feel that ATB is gradually moving away from active work, releasing fewer and fewer new products, and "his era" in my life is slowly becoming part of my past. But despite this, I really want to congratulate him on his Birthday, wish him to raise a new generation of very talented DJs, always radiate optimism, be healthy, joyful, positive and live in harmony with his loving family! Longevity to him, all kinds of benefits and endless reverence in the music community! Let the vitality fill him every day, and his energy charges absolutely everyone who is with him! To my kind words, I enclose a playlist of his truly excellent compositions (both solo and recorded with other authors), selected by me especially for this significant date. I hope you like it!

The 30th anniversary of Andre Tanneberger's creative career!
I cordially congratulate him on this significant date & today I will introduce you to his Jubilee singles. Information taken from http://www.atb-music.ru/.
We stand at the very origins. At the top point of reference of the official musical creations of the composer, then hiding behind the name Sequential One. The guy was 20 at the time, he was taking his first steps, a chic compact design was ordered, not yet spoiled by pictures with a psychedelic color palette. There is a primacy. “Dance” in the original is such a tribal hardcore with a continuation in the form of the track “Raving". In general, the entire product (released on 22.03.1993) is a powerful threshing machine, devoid of any airy melodies, which will later become known as Sequential One. The Dub version is lighter by weight and with a modified second half. Be that as it may, but the first exam can be considered successfully passed — the single, written with the direct help of his teacher Thomas Kukula, did not go unnoticed. Moreover, on the basis of this single, or rather the main phrase, Andre will create his own teaching, which he will carry over the years, and will occasionally remind us of him.

The next one was "Let Me Hear You" (released on 04.10.1993) — the same Bubblegum Dance — one of the varieties of Eurodance (it is also called Happy House). The original and the version of Kukula are not much different from each other (well, just elongated versions for the radio). Somewhere something is twisted, somewhere it's reduced, & somewhere it's rearranged. But with your eyes closed, in complete obscurity, you can't tell the difference, of course. And the remix to “Dance” is already sneaking up on the album version. It is not yet sufficiently "licked" and turned, but steps are being taken, of course, in the right direction. I'm particularly pleased with the presence of a primary melody, which, for a couple of notes in the album, will be changed. That's cool!

Now I turn to the DJ's real grand hit! It was released on 26.10.1998 and struck the hearts of almost everyone. In any case, this track did not leave anyone indifferent. Released in the UK, it immediately hit number one on the best-selling singles and remained at the top for two more weeks. It was the same in Ireland. This single ranked fifth in 1999 in terms of sales popularity — 850,000 copies! It was the first high-profile single by Andre, who took and shortened his initials to ATB. The melody, created on the basis of the "singing guitar" effect discovered by Tanneberger, sunk into the souls of many people (there were haters, but they are in the minority). He made a splash, the track was played on the radio, it was hummed & passed on to friends - “9 PM” became a club (and indeed!) the anthem of 1998-1999, and most importantly — hung out at beach discos and swam in the gentle sea to it. This single had everything: a catchy melody, a sultry house beat, Yolanda Rivera's equally hot vocals. From now on, the sound of the "singing guitar" became a label by which ATB music was recognized. Andre understood this and therefore created real hits using his signature sound, which undoubtedly brought him real success and applause from colleagues (and sometimes envy). The soothing cover, made by the master — Mark Shilkowsky — hinted at reflections and a slow arrival. Since then, Mark will become the chief artwork designer of Andre's creations. “9 PM (Till I Come)” it was such a resounding success that Electronic Arts decided to use it as the intro for the game “FA Premier League Stars 1999”. The version of resurrected Sequential One was no less popular and Andre can be proud — his single was played so many times and for so long as no track in the history of trance music can boast. And the name of the single, according to Andre's own stories, appeared when he finished working on the track. His electronic watch then showed 9 PM, so he titled his release that way. So that's how the stars should have coincided. I wish you to heartily enjoy both the original single (the first 3 tracks) & the remixes released in the following years! Hurrah!
666 - Alarma! (Sequential One Remix) [published in 1997] Remixed, arranged & produced by Andre Tanneberger. Track from Maxi-single "Remixes From Deep Down" released on House Nation label.
A State of Trance (often abbreviated as ASOT) is a Dutch trance radio show hosted by Armin van Buuren and co-producer Ruben de Ronde that first aired in June 2001. It's aired weekly every Thursday at 20:00 (CET) and 14:00 (EST). As of January 2021, ASOT is broadcast to more than 150 stations in 84 countries, and its listener count surpassed 40 million. The show usually takes the format of a two-hour mix in which the latest news in trance music (uplifting trance, vocal trance, and progressive trance), both promotional and commercially released, are presented, especially. Special episodes are also made. The show has its own website, which enables fans to converse in chat rooms & forums while listening to the broadcast. The show is celebrated its live each year in different locations around the globe with a lineup consisting of many trance artists. Well, here I decided to share with you the 2nd part of the official release related to the 600th edition of the show. This mix was made by my favorite DJ ATB, and it was published on April 05, 2013 on the Armada Music label. Yes, this is a very nice compilation that recently celebrated its 10th Anniversary, and the creations at numbers 1, 5, 7 and 12 have become the most dear to my heart (see the tracklist). I hope that you will like this wonderful selection, so enjoy listening!
