This time, Ilya Santana’s (SXDNS072) imprint welcomes to its interstellar roster Sam Britt. Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, the man of the hour adopted an alias that precisely captures the very core of his sonority: Sam In Space. With an avid ear to absorb and reinterpret the wealthy cosmic-infused sonority of the 1970s and 1980s, his sets and productions aim at delivering zero-gravity experiences to their audiences. Previous snippets of his work triggered some sort of expectation among the followers of his endeavours who were eager to know how his first EP would sound like – and it failed to disappoint: “Infinity” comes with 3 well-constructed originals which properly showcase the talents of rising producer. Premiered here, the title track comes dressed to impress: “Infinity” is a fat & groovy Disco-pounded cut with a buoyant gait & a space-inspired atmosphere triggered by hearty synth layers & powerful guitar riffs".

Description: "As hot as ever the new EP from our Siberian disco friends is finally landing into Theomatic’s catalogue. The title track "Solar wind" is a Rhodes driven hands-in-the-air early night anthem: simple powerful, just the way we like it! The flipside features an offbeat cosmic number "Planetarium" which sounds like a perfect soundtrack for some colourful sci-fi cartoon about the early years of space exploration, with all those rockets, flying saucers, stars and comets with long tails. The bonus track (available as a digital download only) is named after the Soviet Moon exploration robot vehicle "Lunokhod 2" ("Moon walker" in Russian) which was sent to the Moon in 1973. Being rather minimalistic at the begining it slowly evolves and reaches its apogee closer to the end with calm and beautiful melody which leaves the listener in a peaceful mood".

The Intergalactic Orchestra is a project by Daniel Boone, created with the assistance of David Byron from Uriah Heep (here he goes by the pseudonym Mark Oxford), as well as with the participation of session London musicians and The Birmingham Midland Orchestra. The album "Super Nova" was released in 1979. It was an attempt by the band to try their hand at Disco, Techno & other dance music, which in the late 70s was very popular all over the world. The authors & creators of all the themes of this album: Mark Oxford (vocals and keyboards); Daniel Boone (vocals, guitars, keyboards, percussion); Muff Muffin (back vocals). Names of the other participants in this recording are still unknown.
