We all know that Laserdance albums were once released by different labels (Hotsound, ZYX, Snake's Music, Beat Box) and on different media (LP, MC, CD). And all these albums, depending on the edition, sound different. I mean, when the same album, released by different labels, has a different sound. In places, the sound is very heterogeneous, deaf, with cut "towers", etc. And in some publications, on the contrary, it is quite balanced and clean. First of all, we are talking about the first four albums: Future Generation, Around The Planet, Discovery Trip & Changing Times.
We all have these albums in our collections in one form or another. They can be bought physically or found on the Internet, not the point. Torrent trackers usually also sign the source from which the rip was made.
Please take a moment & share your opinion. What label and media do you think has the best & highest quality sound? Which editions in your collection sound better? From a disc or vinyl? From which label? Why do you think there are such differences? In which editions is the most correct sound recorded from the master tape and having minimal differences from the original source?
