Irkutsk musician Ruslan Bozhok has signed a contract with an English recording studio
Ruslan writes electronic music of the now rare Spacesynth style: a bias towards melody, not rhythm. Such compositions were popular in the 80s. The "Space" group was the most prominent representative of this style.
Ruslan admits that he never composes music for a long time. He just sits down and plays. In less than 15 minutes, a new composition is born. He uses a variety of sounds: the musician even went to Shamanka and Listvyanka for new "material".
The first album is called "Dreams Of Electronic Mind" and includes ten tracks. It was this album that interested the recording studio from the UK and will be sold in America, Europe and Asia.
— Electronic music requires a good knowledge of electronics, — Ruslan says. — I have been working on computers since childhood: at the age of 11 I became interested in programming.
Over the past seven years, Ruslan Bozhok has been building his own studio. At first, parents helped him. Then Ruslan began to engage in psychological counseling (Ruslan Bozhok studied psychology in Moscow) — all the money he earned went to tools. In addition to psychological education, Ruslan also has a law degree. However, even in the 2nd year of the Constitutional and International Faculty, he realized that this was "not his".
Ruslan Bozhok is unknown so far to the general public in Irkutsk. His family and friends are regular listeners of his creations.
Parents will be happy
— My father wanted to learn to play the guitar all his life, Ruslan admits. — And my mother dreamed of becoming an actress. But everything turned out differently: dad became a civil engineer, mom became a French language teacher. I think they are very pleased that their dreams came true in their son.
