Actually I never really understand why people make “re-edits” by just adding a extra drumbeat which actually fades with the original one and makes it sound worse

To me it sounds like the single sound of the JX-10 strings what is also used for the chords, but I don't think it would be very hard to reproduce this sound on any other synth.
